David Drobny is a principal with the law firm of Manier & Herod. Mr. Drobny graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree from Mississippi College (1998). He received his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee (2001). While attending the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Drobny was a member of the Tennessee Law Review. Mr. Drobny is a member of the Tennessee Self-Insurers’ Association, Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association, Tennessee and Nashville Bar Associations, as well as the Mid-South Workers’ Compensation Association.
Since 2003, his practice has exclusively involved the defense of employers and insurers in workers' compensation claims. In addition to trying several cases, he has also argued appeals at the Tennessee Supreme Court and the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
For several years, he has conducted various seminars for clients and spoken at educational conferences in Tennessee and Mississippi. Recently, on April 20, 2011, Mr. Drobny spoke to industry professionals on Tennessee workers’ compensation law at the 24th Annual Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi.
