J. Paul Singleton

Paul Singleton is an associate with Manier & Herod practicing in the areas of taxation, estate planning, and general business law. He is currently working toward receiving his license as a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Singleton received his B.S. in Accounting (2007), summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky during which time he worked with a local CPA firm in the area of personal and business taxation.  Mr. Singleton received his J.D. (2010), summa cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Tennessee College of Law where he served as an Editor with the Tennessee Law Review.  

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Singleton served in the Middle East aboard the USS Constellation while a member of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Singleton was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Overseas Deployment Ribbon, and received various letters of commendation. Mr. Singleton received an honorable discharge in 2003.
