David J. Deming
Mr.
Deming is a principal in Manier & Herod.
He graduated in 1982 from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale,
Illinois where he majored in Political Science, with a minor in Economics.
He received his law degree from Washington University School of Law
in 1985. Mr.
Deming has practiced law with Manier & Herod since 1985.
Mr.
Deming's practice focuses exclusively on workers' compensation litigation,
where he represents employers, self-insured employers and workers'
compensation insurance carriers in cases throughout the State of Tennessee.
He has served as a speaker at many seminars involving workers'
compensation issues and is actively involved in the Tennessee Defense
Lawyers Association where he currently serves as President and as
a member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Deming was a principal
author of A Practical Guide to Tennessee Workers' Compensation Law,
2d Ed., published in 2003.
Certifications of Specialization are available to Tennessee lawyers in all areas of practice relating to or included in the areas of
Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, Business Bankruptcy, Consumer Bankruptcy, Creditor's Rights, Medical Malpractice, Legal Malpractice,
