Zachary Kurtz is an associate at Manier & Herod in Nashville, Tennessee. His practice is primarily focused on the areas of Surety Law, Fidelity Law, Construction Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. 

Mr. Kurtz earned his Juris Doctor from Belmont University, College of Law. While attending Belmont’s College of Law, Mr. Kurtz was an Article and Note Editor for the Belmont Law Journal. He was also recognized with a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the area of Products Liability. Mr. Kurtz prioritized his professional development through summer clerkships with the Federal Department of Labor, Fisher Phillips, and Manier & Herod.

Prior to law school, Mr. Kurtz attended Belmont University, where he graduated magna cum laude. There, Mr. Kurtz obtained a Bachelor of Science in History with a minor in German. Mr. Kurtz was a member of the Alpha Chi Honors Society, Phi Alpha Theta Historical Honors Society, and was honored with Belmont’s First Year Student Award. Mr. Kurtz cherishes the knowledge and skills acquired from his educational background and diligently applies them to his legal practice.

Mr. Kurtz is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, and the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.

Mr. Kurtz is a Tennessee native and avid Nashville SC supporter who enjoys kayaking, hiking, reading, and creative writing in his free time. While focused on developing his legal and professional skills, Mr. Kurtz also continues to cultivate his passion for history whenever possible.
