Carrigan Hicks is an associate with Manier & Herod in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Hicks began practicing in November of 2021 upon her admission to the Tennessee Bar, and the breath of her practice has largely consisted of Workers’ Compensation defense, representing employers and insurance carriers in claims involving workplace injuries.

Ms. Hicks earned her Juris Doctor, Magna cum Laude, from Mississippi College School of Law in May of 2021, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. Through her time with the Moot Court Board, Ms. Hicks was able to gain practical experience participating in competitions with various teams, including but not limited to the ABA Law Student Division Arbitration team. Prior to law school, Ms. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum Laude, with Special Honors from Jacksonville State University in 2018. In addition to majoring in Political Science, Ms. Hicks earned a minor in Business and Technical Writing. During her time at JSU, Ms. Hicks was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, Phi Sigma Alpha National Political Honor Society, Sigma Alpha Pi Honor Society, and the Order of Omega Greek Honor Society. Additionally, Ms. Hicks was involved with JSU’s SGA Student Senate as a Student Center and as the Community Ambassador. Ms. Hicks also participated in the Alabama YMCA’s Collegiate Legislature as a Supreme Court Justice.

Ms. Hicks is admitted to practice in Tennessee. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, as well as a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.
