Cole G. West is a litigation attorney. With notable experience in state and federal courts, Mr. West practices in the specialties of commercial litigation, construction law, surety law, fidelity law, and employment law.
Mr. West is a Nashville native, and at times a Nashville historian, holding on to memories of Opryland, Starwood Amphitheater, and Fan Fair. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2011, with degrees in Biology and Political Science. Mr. West is a member of the Florida State University College of Law Class of 2015, and he received his J.D. with magna cum laude honors. While in law school, Mr. West represented Florida State in numerous trial advocacy competitions throughout the country.
Mr. West is a licensed attorney and member of the bar in both Tennessee and Florida. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. West represented manufacturers, hospitals, doctors, construction firms, trucking companies, and commercial property owners in both states. He has litigated wrongful death, catastrophic injury, professional negligence, commercial arbitrations, corporate dissolutions and derivative actions, federal multi-district litigation, and represented the primary defendants in a single environmental case that included over 300 plaintiffs.
Mr. West’s personal time is spent either hunting, getting ready to go hunting, or thinking about hunting. He is also a lifelong classic country music fan and an often-disappointed Tennessee Titans fan. However, the truth is he will watch any football game at any time.
