Kealy Theye is an associate with Manier & Herod practicing primarily in the areas of Surety Law, Fidelity Law, Construction Litigation, and Commercial Litigation. Mrs. Theye graduated magna cum laude from Belmont University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor.

While at Belmont, Mrs. Theye served as Executive Events Editor for the Belmont Law Review and was a regular competitor and President of Belmont College of Law’s Moot Court team. She competed in multiple national moot court competitions, where her team received best brief awards and were named national champions. Individually, she earned several best advocate awards for her oral advocacy.

Mrs. Theye gained extensive experience through numerous judicial internships at both the state and federal levels, including work with the Tennessee Court of Appeals and The United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. She was also recognized with CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in the areas of Property, Evidence, Wills & Trusts, Entertainment Law, Sales, Federal Income Taxation, Family Law, Secured Transactions, and Bar Refresher II.

Mrs. Theye is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She earned her undergraduate degree cum laude from Butler University in Indianapolis. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the Nashville Bar Association.

In her free time, Mrs. Theye enjoys hiking, exploring Nashville’s culinary scene, and spending time with friends and family.
