Peyton Carr is an associate with Manier & Herod primarily practicing in workers’ compensation.

Peyton is a Tennessee native and a two-time graduate of the University of Tennessee. As an undergraduate, she studied Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Spanish. As a part of her undergraduate Spanish studies, she spent a summer living in Barcelona and traveling throughout Europe. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree, Peyton worked for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility before returning to Knoxville to obtain her law degree. While in law school she served as a Research Editor for the Tennessee Law Review and as the Executive Editor for the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy. Prior to joining Manier & Herod, Peyton clerked for the Honorable Judge Arnold Goldin for the Tennessee Court of Appeals in Memphis. Peyton is a member of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.

In her spare time, Peyton enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, friends, and her cats, Molly and Charlie. Her Saturdays in the fall are typically spent cheering on her Tennessee Vols.
