Rachel Nordhoff is an associate specializing in Surety law at Manier & Herod. Hailing from Franklin, Tennessee, Ms. Nordhoff earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

While at Loyola, Ms. Nordhoff showcased her dedication to the legal field through a variety of experiences. She interned with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Washington, DC, where she delved into the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and its implications for both corporate online application processes and Federal employment laws. In her final semester, she externed with Justice Michael Hyman at the Illinois First District Appellate Court. At the same time she served as a law clerk for the Uniform Law Commission, contributing to proposed updates to Article 2 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Her academic prowess was recognized with the prestigious Cali Award for her outstanding performance in Legal Writing III.

Before embarking on her legal journey, Ms. Nordhoff earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, graduating cum laude from Loyola University of Chicago. Her passion for global perspectives led her to study at the John Felice Rome Center in Italy, where she became fluent in Italian. Following her undergraduate studies, she embarked on an International Relations fellowship in the Middle East, combining her interests in education, language, and archaeology.

A dedicated member of the legal community, Ms. Nordhoff is actively involved with the Nashville Bar Association. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, diving into a good book, and most recently completed the transformative journey of walking the Camino de Santiago.
