The conference is an annual event co-sponsored by Manier & Herod and offers educational seminars and resources for professionals in the surety industry.
Jarrod Stone and Jeffrey Price presented “Protect the Penal Sum,” a discussion about the surety’s best practices in protecting its penal sum in handling performance bond claims. Melissa Lee and Taylor Ward discussed the protection of privileged information during their presentation “Discovery Disputes and Protecting Expert Communications.” Scott Williams, presenting with Joel Beach from Arch Insurance, concluded the conference with a presentation entitled “Ethical Considerations Arising from Surety Representation.”
